The guy who built Twisty Town. Real name: Chad. You can call him Mr. Twisty.
Mr. Twisty (real name Chad Currin) is a storyteller, author, and the host of the hit YouTube Kids show Mr. Twisty's Storytime Adventures, with more than 44,000 subscribers and millions of views.
He grew up the son of an elementary school librarian, has published 9 books, has performed for more than 10,000 audiences, and in 2026 soft-launched Twisty Town as a free digital storytelling playground for K–5 kids.
When he's not on camera or in a school gym, he's at home in Saratoga Springs, NY, with his dachshund Penny, who has appeared in most of the good parts of his show.
If you're a teacher, librarian, principal, parent, journalist, or anyone else with a question, a compliment, or a school you'd like him to visit, here's everything you need.
